What if the kit breaks down?+
Stop using it and call us straight away. We will agree the safest next step under the terms confirmed for your hire.

Ask when you enquire. We will confirm the handover arrangements and any information supplied for the equipment you book.
What driving licence do I need to hire a van?+
Every driver must be aged 25–69, hold a full UK licence for at least 12 months and meet our insurance rules. We manually check the licence using a National Insurance number or DVLA check code before confirming the hire.

The advertised price includes insurance, breakdown cover, mileage, VAT and the option to add one additional driver. Both drivers must meet the same eligibility requirements.

Ask when booking and we will confirm the seating and specification of the available van.
Is fuel included?+
The fuel arrangement is confirmed in writing for the van or equipment you book.
Can I take the van abroad or to Scotland?+
Any journey outside the agreed area, including travel abroad, must be discussed before booking. We will confirm whether the journey and driver can be accepted.
What happens if I damage the van?+
Stop safely and contact us straight away. The applicable insurance, liability and deposit terms are confirmed before the hire and set out in the hire agreement.
Do I need a licence or experience for a mini digger?+
Competence and site requirements depend on the machine and where it will be used. Tell us about the operator and site before booking so the relevant requirements can be confirmed.
Will a micro digger fit through my gate?+
Measure the narrowest point, including gates and turns, then compare it with the published product specification or send the measurement to us for confirmation.

Send the full address and details of parking, narrow entries, bollards or permits. We will confirm whether delivery is possible and agree the arrangements before booking.
What's the difference between a micro and mini digger?+
Size, operating weight, digging capacity and access requirements vary by machine. Check the individual product details and describe the work so we can confirm a suitable option.
Do you supply attachments?+
Available attachments are listed as separate products where supplied. Mention the work when you enquire so we can confirm compatible attachments and prices.
How messy is hiring a breaker or compactor?+
Breaking and compaction work can create dust, noise and spoil. Plan the work area and ask us about the specific equipment and return condition before booking.

Some equipment requires experience, competence or site-specific controls. Tell us who will use it and where, and we will confirm the requirements before booking.
What safety gear do I need?+
